Gregory Distribution was delighted to attend Exeter College’s annual Apprenticeship Expo Event on 9 March 2017.
The company has a long history in employing apprentices and has a strong commitment to continuing to employ apprentices in the future.
Steve Rose, GDL Training Manager said “Our Trainee driver scheme is an important part of our strategy, we met some great people at the event and I hope they will consider Gregory Distribution help them start their career”.
Gregory Distribution won the New Business of the Year category at the Exeter College Apprenticeship Awards in 2015.
We’re keen to support apprentices as a way of closing the skills gap and making sure the apprentice journey is a great career path. Whilst this event was about school leavers we’re keen to attract new talent of any age into our business. The industry has a shortage of drivers and we believe our trainee driver scheme, soon to be enhanced by using apprenticeships will allow us to develop future LGV drivers.
In addition to trainee drivers we have a wide range of opportunities. Our apprentice vacancies will be available on our careers page: http://www.gdl.uk.com/careers/.
The company was represented at the event by (from left to right) Tim Bennett, Josh Gunn, Robyn Ross, Jovi Hambleton-Jenkins and Steve Rose.
