At Gregory Distribution Ltd (GDL), as a result of continued growth, we have a vacancy for an Apprentice Fleet Administrator based at our Cullompton Depot. This position will be working within the Fleet Services team and will be assisting in the coordination of the day today running of our fleet of vehicles.
The position involves:
Collating tyre depot job sheets against tyre supplier sheets.
Checking all tyre costs and raising purchase order numbers.
Hasten 3rd party purchase order numbers and issue 3rd party sales invoices.
Process purchase invoices and communicate order discrepancies to workshop supervisors and external suppliers.
Answering all queries via phone, email and face to face, in a professional manner.
Scan and record the processed asset paperwork and attach to each asset within Freeway.
To learn other roles within the Administration team and be able to offer assistance and cover whenever it is required.
Company safe systems of work must be observed at all times. This includes maintaining standards of personal hygiene, wearing company uniform and PPE as detailed in SSOW and the Company handbook.
Adhering to GDL Health and Safety policy at all times.
Essential Skills required:
Committed to continuing with studies and completing a Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
Excellent time keeping and reliable.
Confidence and good communicator (verbal and written) both face to face and on the telephone.
Attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload.
GCSE’s (or Equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C or above.
MS packages to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
