At Gregory Distribution, due to expansion we currently have vacancies for LGV CE Drivers, based at our Hobbycraft Depot. This is a fantastic opportunity to continue your driving career with one of the country’s largest privately owned distribution companies.

The position involves:
Loading/unloading of vehicle.
Delivering cages of goods to Hobbycraft stores across the UK.
Multi drop of Max 4 drops a day.
Dealing with customers face to face.
Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.
Attending regular training sessions.
Experience of using tail lifts and double deck floating floor trailers is preferred but not essential.
Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
Working to deadlines.
Confident, polite and a team player.
Hold a current UK DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
Good geographical knowledge.
Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
Why Gregory Distribution?
Starting salary of £28,000 per annum PLUS OVERTIME AND ENCHANCED PAY RATE FOR WORKING NIGHTS AND SATURDAYS.
Weekend work from Aug to Dec maybe required.
Basic Hours of work are 48 hours per week on a shift basis, Monday – Friday, start times vary. Nights out may be required.
